European Client Visits Our Spider Crane Manufacturing Facility for In-Depth Factory Inspection
On 22 September 2026, we welcomed a delegation of clients from Europe to our manufacturing base in China for an on-site factory audit and product inspection. The visit was arranged to let the customer evaluate our production capacity, build quality and engineering capability firsthand before placing a follow-up order for our spider cranes (mini crawler cranes).
During the one-day tour, our export sales team and senior engineers walked the clients through the production workshop, the finished-machine yard and the loading area, and held detailed technical discussions on load charts, outreach configurations, power options and CE-compliant safety systems.

From Online Inquiry to On-Site Verification
Like many overseas buyers, the client first found us through an online search for a reliable spider crane supplier in China. After several rounds of technical correspondence and video calls, they decided to travel to China in person — a step that underscores how seriously international contractors take supplier verification in the compact lifting-equipment industry.
The tour covered every stage that matters to a professional buyer:
1
Cutting and welding workshop — robot welding stations and structural-steel tolerance control;
2
Assembly line — boom section assembly, hydraulic hose routing and slew-bearing fitting;
3
Finished-machine testing area — load testing, slewing test and emergency-stop verification;
4
Outdoor yard — a live display of our full spider crane range, from 1.5t to 16t class units.

Hands-On Product Inspection
The client paid particular attention to build details that are hard to judge from a catalog or a video call: the winch and wire-rope routing, the boom-section bolted connections, the hydraulic control valves, and the layout of the remote-control panel. Our engineers demonstrated the telescopic boom extension, the foldable tracked undercarriage and the 360° continuous slew, while answering questions about duty cycles, oil cooler capacity and working-radius limits.

A dedicated CE-marked demonstration unit was prepared for the visit. The client confirmed that the machine's safety labelling, overload protection, emergency lowering and fire-resistant hydraulic hoses matched the requirements for the European market.

Discussing Loading, Logistics and Long-Term Cooperation
After the workshop tour, the team moved to the container loading area to review packaging, lashing and container-loading plans for export. Spider cranes are shipped knocked-down or semi-knocked-down to maximise container utilisation, and our logistics team walked the client through the standard loading procedure for 20GP / 40HQ containers.

The discussions also covered after-sales support, spare-parts stock, remote technical guidance, and the option of custom paint, custom boom length and dual-power (diesel + electric) configurations for indoor and low-emission sites.

A Step Closer to a Long-Term Partnership
By the end of the visit, the client had completed a full technical walk-through, confirmed the machine configuration for their project, and aligned with our team on commercial and delivery terms. We believe this on-site verification — seeing the workshop, touching the welds, watching the load test — is exactly what a serious spider crane buyer should expect from a manufacturer.
If you are a contractor, rental company or distributor looking for a professional spider crane manufacturer in China, we welcome you to visit our factory the same way. Contact our export team today to arrange a factory tour, a live load demonstration, or a video walkthrough if you cannot travel in person.
